Class Description: Help your friends, family and colleagues be prepared for emergencies by becoming an Emergency First Response Instructor. This course, open to divers and non-divers, trains you to teach people on how to render aid to an Adult, Child or Infant, using CPR, AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), Obstructed Airway techniques and First Aid. You must have a current EFR card or equivalent.

For PADI dive professionals, this course meets the upcoming 2009 PADI Instructor update, requiring you to have your EFR Instructor certification.
    

Emergency First Response courses encompass:

   
  • CPR for adults, children and infants
  • First aid for adults, children and infants
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training
  • The Emergency First Response Instructor and Instructor Trainer courses
    
 
Classroom:
Approximately four hours of classroom training. You will learn the proper assessment of injuries and the procedures to administer First Aid, CPR a long with how to effectively operate an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator).
